Edward Elric-
Ed is the son of a great alchemist, and although he hates his father, he has folowed in his foot steps. Ed is Al's older brother. His mother died when they were younger, after their father left. This left Ed and Al all alone. Ed made an attempt with help from Al to bring their mother back to life but it fail, and it cost Ed an arm and a leg (literaly). The left home to become state alchemists and seek the power and resourses to restor their bodys and bring their mother back to life.
